Funeral services for Mr. Ted Earl Finnell, 64, of
Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday,
December 4, 2010, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral
Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Burris
Cemetery in the Cummins Mill community of Jackson County.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 P.M. – 9
P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services.

He passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the
Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.

He was born June 9, 1946, in Elgin, IL, to the late Noble
Anderson Finnell and Mildred Ellinges Finnell. On May 12,
2003, he was married to Wanda Hunter Finnell, who survives.
He was a factory worker, and served in the U.S. Army during
the Vietnam Era. He was of the Baptist faith, and in his
retirement years, spent a lot of time fishing with his buddies at
Twin Lakes Catfish Farm.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1
Sister: Rosemarie Finnell Wozniak.

Survivors include his Wife: Wanda Hunter Finnell of
Cookeville, TN; 4 Sons: Michael Finnell of Oregon, James
Finnell of Oregon, Teddy Finnell of Illinois, and Chad Meadows
of Illinois; and 1 Brother: Kenneth Allen Finnell. Several Step-
Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren also survive.

Steve Bowman will officiate at the services.
