LEHI, Sept. 15.--Mrs. Abigail Evans Ellingson. 86, Lehi pioneer, died at the family home Tuesday following pneumonia preceded by heart attacks. She had been ill two weeks.

Mrs. Ellingson was born near Chicago, Illinois, January 27, 1846, the daughter of David and Barbara Ann Evans. She moved with her family to Lehi when three years of age, in 1850, where she has since made her home. Always a devout Church member Mrs. Evans was prone to teach by example rather than by word.

She is survived by five sons and daughters: Ole Ellingson, St. Anthony, Idaho; Berg Ellingson, Mrs. Nora Hopkins and Mrs. Christine E. Peterson, Salt Lake; and Mrs. Sarah Pierce, Vernal; two brothers and sisters: Jacob Evans and Rozella Racker, Salt Lake; also 33 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
