Dean Mitchell, 75, of St. George, Utah, formerly of Manhattan, passed away at his home on May 12, 2004. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Meadowview Cemetery in Manhattan

Alan Dean Mitchell of St. George, Utah, formerly of Manhattan, passed away in his home on May 12.

He was born on July 12, 1928 to Erwin and Pleasant Mitchell. He attended grade school at Maudlow and graduated from Manhattan High School.

Dean married Laura Jean Lambert on June 28, 1945.

He was employed at Ideal Cement from 1949 until his retirement on January 1, 1985.

Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping in the Gallatin Canyon and telling a story or two.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, E.L. Mitchell, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19 at Meadowview Cemetery in Manhattan.

Friends and family please gather after the services at the Belgrade Senior Center.

Memorials can be made to an Arthritis Foundation of the donor’s choice.
