Mr. Parker was a call firefighter in Freetown and was a trustee of the James White Memorial Library in East Freetown.
Survivors include his widow, a son, a daughter, a brother, aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.
Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 11 AM at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarklin Hill Road New Bedford Massachusetts. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. Interment in Chace Cemetery East
