FREETOWN ~ Dean R. Parker, Sr. 39 of Braley Road East Freetown died Tuesday May 12, 1987 after a long illness. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Orr) Parker and the son of Robert C. and Harriet C. (Welch) Parker of East Freetown. He died at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River.
He was born in New Bedford and lived all his life in East Freetown. He was head of maintenance for the Adams House in Fall River from 1979 until his death.
Mr. Parker was a call firefighter in Freetown and was a trustee of the James White Memorial Library in East Freetown.
Survivors include his widow, a son, a daughter, a brother, aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.
Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 11 AM at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarklin Hill Road New Bedford Massachusetts. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. Interment in Chace Cemetery East
