Mrs. Maynard was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Linn Creek, Mo .
She married Arthur Stewart Maynard Sr. on March 23, 1935. He preceded her in death.
She retired in 1983 from Wire Rope Corp. as an executive secretary.
Mrs. Maynard was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara (McGowan) Matney; four brothers, Harold, Herbert, Ralph and Gerald Matney; and three sisters, Alice Caldwell, Nelda Matney and Thelma Matney.
She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, where she served with Meals-On-Wheels and was a church officer.
Survivors: her son, Art Maynard, and wife, Sue Ann of Los Lunas, N.M.; two sisters, Wilma Morrison of Cole Camp, Mo .; and Geraldine Matney of Belton, Mo .; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Service: 1 p.m. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph. Interment: Lexington Memory Gardens, Lexington, Mo . The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
