He is survived by his sisters, Louise Berger and Mildred Crostic; brother, Benjamin "Ben" W. Anderson (Virginia); nieces and nephews and a good friend, Mary Ellen Harrison.
Clyde was a graduate of Manchester High School, Richmond Polytechnical Institute, a U.S Army veteran serving in England during the Korean War. He retired from the C&P Telephone Company. He raised thoroughbred horses, was an enthusiast of horse racing, and as a harness driver, raced and won many events throughout Virginia and the East Coast.
