Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and adored aunt, Margaret Rosalie Routledge Marble, 92, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 27, 2013 surrounded by family and dear friends at Winchester Hills, Utah. Margaret Rosalie was born September 11, 1920, at her home on the family farm near Lansford, North Dakota, to Myrtle and George M. Routledge. She married Warren L. Marble December 26, 1943, and later renewed their vows at the Manti Temple. Warren passed away in April of 2004, four months after celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Upon graduation from Lansford High School, she attended Minot Business College and worked in the office at Kaiser Shipyards Vancouver, Washington. After being courted by Warren they married and moved to his hometown of Central. She worked at Mountain States Telephone Company in Richfield as a Service Representative and then took on a new job of raising a family. She was a wonderful and loving mother to her daughter Lynnette and son David. She adored her son-in-law Wayne, daughter-in-law Jenine and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved all of her family far and near.

Active in the LDS church, Rosalie served in numerous callings in her ward and stake including ward Relief Society President. Rosalie and Warren served a mission at the Washington, D.C. Temple and also served a mission at Cove Fort. She was compassionate, kind and giving to all she would meet and cherished her friends, church and community. She was sincerely grateful and thankful to everyone in Central for all their help over the years and for watching over her.

Rosalie was a loyal BYU Football Fan and Jazz Fan. She enjoyed her garden, flowers, cooking, reading, spending time with her family and keeping in touch with friends. She loved to get out and attend various church and community events. Over the years she has enjoyed quilting, square dancing, fishing, riding in the mountains, traveling by RV with friends and going home to North Dakota to visit her family. In 2010 she attended her 72nd class reunion at Lansford High School.

She is survived by her children, Lynnette (Wayne) Petersen, St. George; David (Jenine) Marble, South Jordan; grandchildren: Lark, Dustin, Justin and Mason; great grandchildren: Callie, Mason, Arie Aunna, Zander and Geni.
