The News, Frederick, MD, January 5, 1945 PFC ORVILLE F. STREIGHT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Streight, of Brunswick, has been killed in action in Belgium, according to a telegram received by his parents from the War Department. He was killed December 10, the message, giving no further details.

Two Brunswick War Casualties Reach New York Funeral Arrangements Pending for Sgt. Will and Pfc. Streight Among the first of the World War II victims removed from European cemeteries are: Pfc. Richard M. Hull, son of Mrs. Margaret E. Hall, Taneytown; Pfc. Orville F. Streight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Streight, 332 Potomac street, Brunswick; and Staff Sergt. Gilmour M. Will, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilmour M. Will, Sr., 501 Brunswick street, Brunswick.

First reported killed in action, it was later learned that Pfc. Streight died of a heart attack in his sleep, December 10, 1944 at Butenbach, Belgium. His company officer, Capt. William Feaster, notified the parents of the circumstances of his death several weeks after his demise. The office said Pfc. Streight had not been ill prior to the fatal attack.
