ANNVILLE -- Dorothy H. Hand, 84, of South White Oak Street died Saturday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
She retired as a middle-school teacher from the Harrisburg School District and was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association.
She was the widow of Clark E. Hand. Surviving are a son, Michael R. of Annville; a daughter, Gail Reed of Middletown; a brother, Samuel Russell Jr. of Wernersville; a sister, Ginny Yoder of Florida; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Buse Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City RD.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
