Thelma R. Pepitone, a homemaker, died Friday in her home after a brief illness. She was 63. Mrs. Pepitone was a native of Plaucheville, La. and a resident of Harahan for 26 years. She was a parishioner of St. Rita of Harahan Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Newman Jr. and Paul Pepitone; four daughters, Darlene Pepitone, P. Balv, Paula Creppel, Alice Pepitone and Ramona Bentley; Two brothers, Dale and Vernal Lemoine; four sisters, Mae DeBoe, Bernadine Price, Myra Lemoine and Mildred Chenevert; and six granchildren. A mass will be said Monday at 1pm at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral HOme, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
