Joshua Michael Toothman, 19, of Jesup, Ga., died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Brooksville, Florida. The Chatham Co., Ga. native had lived in Wayne Co. most of his life and was a graduate of the 2007 Class of the Wayne County High School. He had planned to attend Brunswick Community College in the Fall and study Marine Biology. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather: Whitaker Samuel Shuman and his paternal grandfather: John Toothman.
Survivors are his parents: Brad & Mary Toothman of Jesup, Ga., a brother: Sam Austin Toothman of Jesup, Ga., 2 sisters: Tarna Ashley Toothman and Janie Kay Toothman, both of Jesup, Ga., maternal grandmother: Jacqueline Shuman of Savannah, Ga.
Paternal grandmother: Marilyn Toothman of Heath,Ohio; a nephew: Mason Cole Toothman, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 P. M. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, from the Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home Chapel (Jesup, Wayne Co, GA) with Rev. Bobby Russell officiating. Interment will be private.
Active pallbearers will be: Zach Geottch, Brock Mitchum, John Lyndsey, Corey Griffis, Cody Adams and Richard Land.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 P. M. Monday from the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family: 279 Aaron Holland Road, Jesup, Ga., 31545.
