Services for Glen A. Arthur, 88, of 511 E. Central Park Ave., Davenport, were Monday at Davenport Memorial Park. Runge Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Arthur died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Home, Davenport. He was formerly employed at French & Hecht Co., Davenport. Mr. Arthur married Pearl Cantonwine in 1917 in Davenport. Survivors include his wife; a son, . . . ; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Note: Glen Arthur married Pearl Cantonwine, daughter of Austin "A.J." and Louise (Schindhelm) Cantonwine, granddaughter of David "Doc" and Cynthia Emily (Irish) Cantonwine, and great-granddaughter of Charles and Mary Magdalena (Scholl) Cantonwine.

Although Glen's obituary shows a middle initial of "A.", his draft registration record (World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918 > Michigan > Detroit City > 12 > Draft Card A) shows his name as Glen Johnson Arthur.
