Interment was originally made at what was known as David Cox Cemetery. It was located about half-way between Bridle Creek and Cox's Chapel on a hilltop at the low water bridge crossing New River off of Bridle Creek Road.
Jane's and her husband's bodies were later moved and re-interred at Cox Chapel Cemetery.
