Purple Heart Recipient~Edward George Burns was awarded the Purple Heart in the U.S. World War II Army in the 82nd Airborn Division. Thank you for your service in World War II.

Edward George Burns was one of 100 WW II veterans awarded the French Legion of Honor on June 5th, 2004 in Paris, France, commemorating the 60th Anniversary of D-Day, the invasion of Normandy.
