Breaux Bridge – Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at The Bridge Fellowship Church in Breaux Bridge, for Karl Leroy Johnson, 77, who passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Karl was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Petroleum Helicopters, where he worked as a pilot. Karl was an avid history buff, an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and he also enjoyed doing carpentry and mechanic work.

He is survived by his wife, Karen B. Johnson of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Brian (Sonja) Johnson of Baker, FL, and Michael (Ana) Touchet of Seattle, WA; four daughters, Deborah (Willie) Johnson of Flomaton, AL, Jamie (John) Hocutt of Cypress, TX, Melisa Touchet of Lafayette, and Becky (Wally) Padilla of Odessa, TX; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Lillian Lambeth Johnson; and his son, Clifton "Buddy" Johnson.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
