He is survived by his wife Myra Sue Ferris of the home; children: Fred & Renee Thompson, Rose Hill; Charity & Tony Fiveash, Wichita; Pamela Jackson-Phillips, Lakeland, FL; Douglas "Scott" & Chris Ferris, Haysville; Denise & Randy Jewell, Colorado Springs, CO; brothers: Ralph & Jackie Ferris, Alexander, AR; Michael & Ursula Ferris, Wichita; sister, Fahran Jo Black, El Dorado. He is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Lee Thompson; and sisters, Calvadeane Tobias & Karen Coleen Ferris. Graveside Service 10:30 am Thursday, June 12 at Resthaven Cemetery, 11800 West Hwy 54, Wichita. Memorials may be designated to Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S Market, Wichita 67202.
