Inga Bertina Adrion, 93, formerly of Kenosha, Wis., died peacefully Friday, March 7, 2008, in Dubuque, where she had been staying since 2006.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Bruch Funeral Home, Kenosha, Wis., where friends may call after noon Saturday, March 22. Burial of cremated remains will be Monday, March 24, in All Saints Cemetery, Pleasant Prairie, Wis. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of local arrangements.
She was born on July 29, 1914, in Monroe County (Clifton Township), Wis., daughter of Jacob and Tena (Johnson) Olson. She was baptized in 1914 and confirmed on September 16, 1928, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hustler, Wis. She attended Rocky Run grade school and Sparta High School.
She married Lloyd Edwin Adrion on Dec. 14, 1935; he preceded her in death in 2001, after 65 years of marriage.
They farmed on the family farm in Clifton, until 1959, when they moved to Tomah. She worked at the Tomah Cash Store, Veterans Hospital, Sherman Hotel and Tomah High School cafeteria. They moved to Kenosha in 1963, where she ran a rooming house on 59th Street until 1983.
She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenosha.
Inga was a very spiritual, kind-hearted woman so loved by all. Her main interest was being the best wife, mother, grandmother and anchor of her family, which she so successfully accomplished in her lifetime. The love she freely gave to her family and friends was indeed a privilege and blessing to be a part of and she will be missed and remembered by many.
Surviving are her three children, Arlene (Alfred) Lee, of Dubuque, Janice (Gene) Reisdorfer, of Janesville, Wis. and Wanda (John) Ryshkus, of Kenosha; her seven grandchildren; her 17 great grandchildren; and her four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by was a son, Dwayne Adrion; a granddaughter, Shannon Ryshkus; three brothers, Edward, Julian and Harold Olson; and a sister, Edna Vinz.
