James E."Bud" Winningham was the son of Jahue and Martha Winningham. James E."Bud" Winningham - was road commissioner of Pickett Cty. James Edward Winningham served in World War I, was wounded in France. James Edward "Bud" Winningham was first married to Amly Jo Huckaby. They had one child, Amly and baby Roy Winningham died. Roy Winningham is buried at Guntertown Cemetery in Moodyville. James E. "Bud" Winningham then married Bertie Viola Ammonett and had 9 children. "Bud" was father of:
Shirley Randall Winningham, James Wesley Winningham, Delcie Winningham Little, Jimmy Don Winningham, Sally Grace Winningham Stephens, Hudson Eugene Winningham, (3) children passed away in infancy: William Carson is buried at Amonett Cemetery, and twins Jerald & Jerley Winningham buried at Robbintown Cemetery.
