John A. Osborne, Sr., 53, died Monday, January 16, 1995.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Revs. J.W. Layfield and Ken Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Osborne was a native of Baldwin County. He was a former tax appraiser and a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, John A. Osborne,Jr. of Port Charlotte, Fla.,two sisters, Diane Yarbrough Sanders of Milledgeville and Betty Pennington Davis of Salem, Mass., and a brother, Charles A. Osborne of Milledgeville.

It's 18 years since you left on your journey. A lot of changes have taken place since then. I spend some time with Diane as often as i can. She's the only one left. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

Hey Big John,I often think about the days when we were growing up. Hunting and Fishing on the Oconne River, its been along time, sure do miss those days, and staying up all night so we could be on the river at daylight. Farewell till we meet again.
