96, of Lexington, Kentucky, died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Lexington Country Place, in Lexington. She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, April 29, 1914, to the late Harry Thomas and Lovena Nichols Hays. Mrs. Kidwell was retired from General Electric and a member of the Porter Memorial Baptist Church, in Lexington, Kentucky. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Ann Whiteker, Lexington, Ky and two grandsons, Michael Desha Whiteker and Gregg Russell Whiteker. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted 1 PM. Monday, March 7, 2011, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Rev. Jesse Baldridge, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
