79, of Cynthiana, KY., died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Hospice Care, in Lexington, KY. He was born in Harrison County, KY., August 7, 1933, to the late James Green and Vantee Whirles Harney. Mr. Harney was a Kawneer employee, Farmer, Horseman, Auctioneer and owned a Tractor Dealership. He is survived by his wife Christine Robinson Harney, one son, Dan (Wende) Harney, of Georgetown, KY., one daughter, Brenda (David) O'Leary, Hanover, Penn., four grandchildren, Rebecca (Patrick Keegan) O'Leary, Kara O'Leary, Beth (Mark) Rosa and Sarah Harney. One great grandson, Jack Logan Rosa also survives. Services will be conducted 1 PM Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Bro. Benny Northcut, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
