She was a descendant of Mayflower passenger Francis Cooke through her mother, Mary Washburn, who was a daughter of Elizabeth Mitchell and John Washburn.



She was married on 18 Dec 1716 at Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts to Thomas Willis.
