TEAYS VALLEY, W. Va. — Jaime J. Woodtke, son of Shirley Mangler of Branford, Conn., and Bruce Woodtke, died Sunday, July 5, 1998, of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident in Teays Valley.
He was a student at Wilcox Regional Vocational Technical School in Meriden, Conn. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant from the U.S. Army after 12 years of service, including tank commander in Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. He served with the 24th Infantry Division (mechanized) of Fort Stewart, Ga., and also saw duty in Korea and Germany. He was currently employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Huntington.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tina of Teays Valley; a daughter, Angela of Copperas Cove, Texas; stepsons, Paul and Chris Newman of Teays Valley; two brothers, William of Wallingford, Conn., and Wayne of Meriden; two sisters, Laura McDonald of Florida and Marli Roblee of Durham, Conn.; and one nephew, Jeffrey Roblee Jr. of Durham.
Services will be held Thursday in Charleston, West Virginia.
