Comedian, Entertainer. He was known for his often confrontational crowd work during which he played couples against one another. He began his comedy career in Boston in 1992. In the late 1990s he became a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York. Unwilling to yield to the demands of American club owners that he change his confrontational act, he relocated to the United Kingdom. In 2002 he returned to the New York area and received an offer to do his first half-hour special for Showtime. Since 2002 he became a recognized radio personality as a regular guest and occasional co-host on the Opie and Anthony program. In February 2011 Comedy Central aired his first hour-long special, Elephant in the Room. His final television appearance before his death was when he was one of many roasters at the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen in September 2011. He suffered a stroke on October 19 and he died due to complications from his stroke. Shortly after his death, his first album, Mr. P, was to be released in February 2012. (bio by: Babe)
