HUNTINGDON - Ruth Ellen Boyd Bailey, 76, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Huntingdon.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Comfort Cemetery. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bailey, the wife of Thurman Bailey, also leaves six daughters, Mary Brotherton, Brooxie Parish, Patsy Bailey, Carolyn Pillow and Debbie Burns, all of Huntingdon, and Brenda Todd of McKenzie; six sons, L. C. Bailey of Lexington, Bruce Bailey, Scotty Bailey, Joe Bailey and Ricky Bailey, all of Huntingdon, and Donald Bailey of Henry; a sister, Mattie Kripp of Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Johnson Boyd of Hollow Rock, 26 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
