He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, E. Haroldine, on December 19, 1995; brother and sister-in-law, Lyndie and Lucille Neese; brother, Lowell Neese; sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Ed Hoover; brother-in-law, Cecil Turner; sisters-in-law, Jean Crowder, Gloria Yelton and Bettye Capps and mother and father-in-law, May and Harold Crowder.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving as a pilot.
