Hospital Corpsman Petty Officer 1st Class Darrel L. Enos, 36, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Aug. 17 while supporting combat operations in Farah province, Afghanistan. They were assigned to 3rd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Darrel Enos, 36, of Jacksonville, died Friday, August 17, 2012. He served in the US Navy. A funeral service will be held 3:30 PM Friday at the Protestant Chapel aboard Camp Lejeune. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Enos of Jacksonville; son, Connor Enos of Henderson, NV; three daughters, Sebrina Enos of Henderson, NV; Ashley Enos of Jacksonville; Tarren Enos of Jacksonville; stepdaughter, Heather Lowther of Japan; stepson, Matthew Mitchell of Oklahoma City, OK; mother, Patty Loren of Colorado Springs, CO; four brothers and four sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Wounded Warrior Regiment, 3025 John Quick Rd., MCB Quantico, VA 22134, c/o Charitable Donations Coordinator. The check needs to be made payable to: Department of Navy Gift Fund. With the memo line reading: Wounded Warrior Regiment. Services in Colorado Springs are pending at this time.
