Ronnie James DeBusk, 52, of Pierce, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000 at home. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel in Orofino. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Woodland Catholic Church in Pierce.
Ronnie was born in Boise, Idaho to Dorothy Lucille Hoopes/ DeBusk. He was alleged to be the son of Charles Daniel Robbins.
He grew up in the Boise area and attended Boise schools.
He was a skilled journeyman carpenter, and sketch artist.
He worked in the housing construction industry and later
was a truck driver.
He served in the US Navy from 1965-1967.
He married Edna L. New on May 5, 1969.
They made their home in the Boise area.
They enjoyed building street rods, and antique Harleys.
They had one daughter, Tammy. They later divorced.
He later married Mona R. Shaeffer. They had four children, Ryan, Shawna, Stephanie, and Seth.
They made their home in the Pierce, Idaho area.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
Ron is survived by his five children, three sisters, four brothers, and seven grandchildren. His mother, father, aunt Dora Robbins, and Uncle Gene Robbins, and a brother, Gary Litz, preceded him in death.
