Her obit as follows:
"DIED.--At her home in Dial Texas on Feb. 22, 1886, of pneumonia, Mrs. Mary A. Lesnett in the 68th year of her age. It gives us pain to chronicle the death of our friend and neighbor Mrs. Mary A. Lesnett, wife of Shipley Lesnett and mother of Mrs. D. E. Taylor of your town. She died at the age of 68 years on the evening of the 22nd ult. Having lived in this community for the past five years, during which time she secured the friendship of all with whom she met, for she was herself a friend to all. The husband and family have our deepest sympathy in this their sore bereavement."
