Veteran Bank Employee Dies

Henry L. Vizcarra, employee of the First National bank of Shreveport for the past 27 years, died last night at a local sanitarium after a short illness. Services will be held at Osborn Funeral Home at 5 p.m. today, with the American Legion in charge. Burial will be in New Orleans.

Vizcarra, of 400 Akard, had been a resident of Shreveport since 1920, when he was first employed at the First National Bank in the bookkeeping department. He was head teller at the bank at the time of his death.

A veteran of World War I, Vizcarra was a member of Lowe-McFarlane Post of the American Legion and a member of the Forty and Eight Club. A native of New Orleans, he attended Tulane University.

Survivors are his wife; a twin sister, Mrs. Guadelupe Daniel, of New Orleans; a niece, Eloise Daniel of New Orleans, and two aunts, Mrs. Harry Hunt and Mrs. Marietta Balbarriao of Mexico City, N. M.
