William was the second of eight children born to Friederich Eschmann and Katherine Norden. On 02 Oct 1884 he married Katherine Arts and they had seven children: Annie, William, Alexander, Viola, Florence, Corinne and Ruth. For most of his life he worked in the metal-working industry and as a brass finisher. He died of organic heart disease at the age of 52.

William was my 2X great-grandfather.
