Prudy Lupo, 102, originally of the Northwest Side of Chicago, died Sunday in the Pavilion Nursing Home in Waukegan. A native of Sicily, Mrs. Lupo came to Chicago in the 1890s as a child. In 1928, she opened Prudy's Bridal Shop on West Chicago Ave., which she operated until her retirement in 1968 when she moved to Florida. Mrs. Lupo is survived by a son, John Pecaro; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. A funeral Mass was held Thursday.
