Lucio Enriquez was born in Texas, a part of Mexico at the time, and received a Headright Certificate on February 1,1838 by the Bexar County Land Board. He was married to Ancencia Martinez, who after his death, sold 960 acres of his land for $25.00.
Mr. Enriquez was a member of Captain Juan N. Seguin's Company at the Battle of San Jacinto. His all Tejano company wore pieces of cardboard stuck in their hat bands in order to distinguish them selfs from the enemy.
Lucio died in Bexar County in 1851, and the location of his burial are unknown at this time.
