This person would have been about 10-12 years old when both of his parents died. I believe he must have been raised by his Uncle George W. Wolf (b. 1813) and wife Malinda McFelch Wolf as they took three of the orphaned children. He married Laura Frances Cunningham and they may have lived around Big Springs and San Angelo in Texas. His pension letters mentioned that he had lived in Texas since 1864 but the Wolf-Adams-Tinnin wagon train did not come to Texas till 1867. He moved to Stanton, Martin Co., TX in 1898 from Plainview, Hale Co.,TX. He was wounded in the left arm at Port Hudson, La. Was in Co., I, 14th Ark Infantry, Private and Drum Major. He has two brothers who also served CSA out of AR also buried in this cemetery.

Laura applied for and received a CSA pension after George Washington Wolf died. Then evidently these three family members left Cahoma as they are found in El Paso City, TX for the 1930 census. Robert is listed as divorced but it is known that he had a son with name unknown to family. Then all three of these family members died in CA. The son, Forrest B. Wolf d. in CA in 1943. The son Robert H. Wolf d. CA in 1956. George's wife, Laura Frances Cunningham Wolf, died in CA 16 Jul 1943.
