Margaret C. Jones, 73, passed away on December 29, 1989 after a long suffering illness.
Born April 19, 1916 in North Ogden to Archibald and Ann Barker Clifford. Married Clarence J. Jones 57 years ago on November 18, 1932; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She has been active in the LDS Church. for several years, she owned and operated the Mode O'Day clothing store in Bountiful. She loved her family and was selfless in her devotion and care of them.
Survived by husband, Clarence (Clix) Jones, Bountiful; son and daughter, Clarence Jones and Linda Wahlquist, both Centerville; five grandchildren. Preceded in death by a grandson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 1990 on 11 a.m. at the Bountiful 4th Ward Chapel, 1400 South 101 East. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street and on Wednesday at the Church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment: North Ogden Cemetery.
