Lois Drewett

Funeral services celebrating the life of Lois Drewett will be at 1:30 pm Sunday, May 2, 2004, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with the Reverend Bob Galloway officiating, assisted by Reverend Scott Gillon. Interment will be in Hargis Cemetery.
Mrs. Drewett, 85, of Alexandria, died Saturday, May 01, 2004 in her residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Drewett.
Lois Drewett leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tommy Drewett of Pineville and Sonja Alexander of Homer; her brothers, Huey Bazar of Lone Star, Texas and Isaac Bazar of Kansas; her sisters, Betty Dick of Keithville, Evalene Rogers of Alexandria, Grace Fletcher of LaPorte, Texas and Floriece Hemminger of Boyce; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Friends may call after noon until time of service today, at the funeral home.
The family suggest memorials to the Hope Baptist Evangelism, 7921 Hwy 28 West, Alexandria, LA 71303.
