James T. Maiga, known as "Jim" Maiga, age 66, of St. Clair, Michigan, passed away August 19, 2013. He was born to the late Stephen Maiga and Elizabeth Maiga on July 5, 1947 in Highland Park, Michigan and married Pamela Wolanin on June 19, 1976. They raised their family in the Sterling Heights area before moving to St. Clair.

He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 2004 where he worked as a millwright. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the St.Clair Golf Club.

He was survived by his wife, Pamela Maiga, children James (LyzJoanna) Maiga, Nicole Maiga, grandson; William Maiga. He was also survived by his brothers and sisters; Thomas (Bonnie) Maiga, Mary Catherine Maiga, Dan Maiga, Judy (Mike) Izzo, Joan (Jim) Ursing, brothers and sisters in-law; Barbara (Wayne) Doyle, Phyllis Wolanin, and Gloria Maiga, Special "brother and sister"; Chet and Mary Skrzypek and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother; Greg Maiga, mother and father in-laws, Bill and Alice Wolanin, brother in-law; Bill Wolanin and step-mother, Leona Maiga.
