BOUNTIFUL--Our spunky wife and mother, Lucille Arbuckle Hatch, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday October 23, 1999 in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Bountiful, Utah, on September 17, 1916, to Emer Shreeve and Leona Howard Abruckle. She married Donald M. Hatch on January 20, 1937, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She graduated from West High School and was a beautician in the Hotel Utah and at ZCMI. She faithfully served many positions in the LDS Church.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Don; children, Jo Ann Carroll, Barbara (Kenneth) Miller, Kay (Richard) Christensen, and Dick (Jane) Hatch; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Howard Arbuckle, and sister, Joyce Ford. She was preceded in death by her daughter Rose Mary, her parents, her brother James, and two sisters Jean Brown and Norma Nelson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 1999, at 1 p.m. at the Bountiful Tabernacle, 50 South Main Street. Friends may call Monday evening, October 25, 1999, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery
Don, her sweetheart of 63 years, took beautiful care of an unwilling patient in recent years. The family expresses gratitude to our friend and physician, Dr. Regina Drueding, and the caring staff of Bountiful House.
