Diann Brooks, age 68 of Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2012.
Diann was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Sherman & his wife, Linda Burton; and by her brother-in-law, Jennings Simpson.
Diann is survived by her husband of the past 45 ½ years, Melvin Brooks; three daughters, Angela See, Lori (David) McIntyre & Shelly (Eric) Paxton; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Blaine, Alex, Hannah, Brooke & Bethany; five sisters, Neva (Bob) Griffith, Betty Simpson, Kathy (Ralph) Partin, Nina (James) Meadors, Sandra (Tony) Cooper; one brother, David (Mary) Burton; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Diann will be remembered by her family as being a very loving wife, a wonderful mother and nurturing grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who know her.
The family will be receiving friends at the Moraine First Church of God, 5867 Springboro Pike, West Carrollton, Ohio. Funeral services with Pastor Glenn Sizemore officiating. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery.
