Dr. Darsey spent 40 years of her life as a devoted and dedicated educator at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
She retired in 1995 as chair of the Department of Administrative Services College of Business.
Preceded in death by her parents William Wade Darsey and Cora Lee Darsey, survivors include her niece, Martha Choate; nephew, Matthew W. Darsey and sister-in-law, Doris Darsey.
Funeral Service at Earthman Bellaire Chapel, 6700 Ferris St., Bellaire, Texas. Interment at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, San Angelo, Texas.
