Funeral services were held last Wednesday in Dentville, Miss. for Mrs. Ora Morris Leggett of Hazlehurst, Miss., mother of A. W. Leggett, 308 Dooley Lane, Monroe. She died Tuesday in a Hazlehurst hospital after a brief illness.
Services were conducted in the Pine Bluff Baptist Church, and burial followed in the church cemetery.
In addition to the son in Monroe, survivors include another son, T. B. Leggett, Hattiesburg, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Channell, and Mrs. Eva Crisco both of Dentville, Miss., Mrs. Bernice Massey, Hazlehurst, Miss.; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
Grandsons serving as pallbearers were Rev. Mack Massey, L. B. Leggett, Lawrence Channell, Alton Channell, Dean Higdon and Henry Bryant.
