Mrs. Lucy S. Robles, age 85 of Miami, Ariz., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at Springdale Village Nursing Home in Mesa. She was born in Miami, Ariz. on Jan. 13, 1925, the daughter of Phillipe and Nabor Soto.
Lucy was a lifetime resident of Arizona. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family and visiting with her friends and grandchildren. She was also an animal lover and loved all animals and especially her pets.
Lucy is survived by her daughters, JoAnn (Craig) Steele and Linda C. Garner, both of Globe; her son, Ernest A. Robles of Los Angeles, Calif.; her sisters, Kita Coe of Lake Havasu, Ariz. and Julia Sabino of Anthony, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ramon Soto; sisters, Agatha Terrazas, Socorro Soto, Aurora Terrazas, and Reyes Escalante.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Rosary will follow at 9:30 a.m., and services will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Globe Cemetery.
Assisting the family is Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
