Eugene Parson was born in Spruce creek, Huntingdon Co. Pa, the son of Oscar David Parson and Violet E. Parson (Kling). Surviving are his wife Kathleen V. Woleslagle who he married in 1940. Also surviving are six children: Gene G. Parson of Tyrone, James D. Parson of Bellwood, twins Danny L. Parson of Tyrone and Diann K. Seilhamer of Altoona, Karen L. Wheland of palmyra with whom Mrs. Parson now resides, and Joyce A. Morris of Tyrone as well as 14 grand children and numerous great grand chilidren.
He was a member of The First Baptist Church Altoona, Pa.
He was an avid Pirates Baseball and Steelers Football fan, and was a past member of the The Altoona City Baseball League.
He was a good Father, a special Grand Father and Great-Grand Father, a friend to many and loved very much.
Most of all he loved the Lord and knew he would see him one day... today he is with his Lord! AMEN! John 3:16
