Former Paris Police Department records clerk Margaret Ann Willson, 80, of Paris died Thursday, Oct 5, 2006, at the home of her caregiver, Betty (Dennis) Irby at Springville.
The body was cremated.
A memorial service is planned at 2:30 PM Sunday at Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship Church, where, according to her caregiver, she was a very active member. Dennis Irby will officiate.
No visitation is scheduled. McEvoy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Born Oct 6, 1925, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of Raymond T and Opal Elizabeth Krippendorf Yates, now both deceased.
Ms Willson was a graduate of Grove High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. She worked for Paris Police Department from 1974-1994.
She was a member of Friends of the Library, Henry County Republican Women and AARP.
Memorials may be made to Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship or to the charity of the donor's choice.
