Martha is not in a cemetery. It is just a lone grave at the end of a field on the old Dominguez farm in Gila, New Mexico. I am new to FAG, so I don't know how you go about adding a grave that is not in a cemetery. When I have tried to do it, says I need cemetery name. Good Grief, I guess they think everyone lives in a city!

Coordinates N32.97217, W108.57470. These will take you to a field in Gila, Grant Co. New Mexico using google earth. Further the site is along State Road #153 , North of the country store. It is known as the Power Cemetery. Martha is the only grave in that cemetery. (added by billcarr 08/2019)

Martha was Toms Sr wife. She was killed when a roof rafter in a new dugout home broke and collapsed. It fell on her and killed her outright. She was buried and the family moved to Arizona. (JLB)

A fellow by the name of Reede had leased part of the Power place at Gila, NM and built a house called a dugout. It had a roof made of heavy logs, covered with brush and grass and covered with dirt. The day he finished his house, Martha and grandma Power went over to look at it, taking a few things to dress it up a little. They had been in it just a few minutes when the ridge pole broke, it caved in and covered the women with dirt. Grandma Power was able to get out and ran for help, but Martha was dead when they got her out. My mother in law told us of this incident a long time ago.

Martha Morgan was my great grandmother's sister. I am in a unique situation in that my grandmother was a cousin to Tom & John, and my grandfather (by marriage) was a Wootan, and his relatives were among the lawmen. I grew up hearing about this tragic story. I was visiting my grandparents in the summer of 1962, I believe it was. One day, we were visiting my ggfa, and John Power came to visit. My ggfa knew the Power family as he was married to Mary Morgan. John had very recently been released. I remember his eye, wounded in the gun battle.
