She married Jack Leak Cook 28 November 1954 in Palestine, TX. They were the parents of three sons, Jack Leak Cook Jr, Joe Bob Cook, and Orville Dean Cook. Helen shares a stone with her husband, Jack.

Services for Helen Fisher Cook, 70, of Palestine will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Church with David Haynes and Benny Burlison officiating. Burial will follow in Chambers Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.
Mrs. Cook died Thursday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 22, 1935 in Dallas to Sandy Iddo and Bonnie Wade Fisher.
Mrs. Cook was a homemaker and a charter member of Trinity Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Cook in 1990; sons, Jack L. Cook Jr. and Orville Dean Cook; and a sister, Bonnie LaVergne Ferguson.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her son, Joe Bob Cook of Palestine; a sister, Louise Fisher Goff and husband Mike of Palestine; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Cook, Christopher Guthrie, Adam Cook, Michael Goff, Dalen Hobbs and Glenn Gusa.
