Ruth Johnson, age 78, a retired bookkeeper for the Brevard County School Board, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was born in Geneva, FL. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Thomas, Vicki Johnson; son, Wayne Johnson; sisters, Nina Lee, Louise Larson; 4 grandchildren, David, Leah, Andrew, Adam.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jay Johnson. Calling Hours will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa. Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home.


Ruth was sister to my birthmother and my aunt.
