Born 30 Jun 1901 in Coleman County, he was married 08 Sep 1927 to Onie Mary (Bob) Casey. He had lived in Coleman County until 1952, when he moved to Abilene. He was a retired employee of Cooper Furniture Co. and a farmer. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, James Strange of Port Arthur; four sisters, Mrs. Sherman Williams, Mrs. Ola Preewitt, Mrs. Herbert Peek and Mrs. Loyce Peek, all of Coleman; a brother Glen Strange of Coleman and two grandchildren.
