CRANDALL -JEANNETTE (CRANDALL) MUSKO, 84, Hackettstown, NJ, a former Northern Tier resident passed away quietly, October 25, 1996, at the Hackettstown Community Hospital. Mrs. Musko was born on November 27, 1911 in Williamsport, PA to Burdette R. and Ella Mae James Crandall. Her father was a prominent builder in Canton and Williamsport. Upon the completion of her education in the legal secretary profession she secured her first job as a secretary to George W. C. McCarter of McCarter and English in Newark, NJ. During the 1930's and 40's she was a member of the Women's Business and Professional Association of Newark. She was married to Adam Musko and together they raised a son Robert. In 1949 the Muskos moved to the Arrowhead section of Danville, NJ where she was employed by the firm of James, Wycoff, Vecchio and Pattman. Later she was employed by Edwin Orr, Esp. retiring in 1972. While successfully handling the careers of homemaker and legal secretary, she still found time and energy to serve in her church, Danville Community United Methodist Church, as a member of the Board of Trustees and as a Sunday School teacher, helping to bring young lives to the Lord in July of 1984 Mr. Musko passed away and two years later she relocated to the Panther Valley section of Hackettstown, NJ. Surviving are Robert Musko, Hackettstown; brother, Allen E. Crandall, John's Island, SC; two nieces, a nephew and several cousins. A graveside service took place October 30 at the Park Cemetery in Canton with the Rev. Mary Kisner, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Troy, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Morse and Kleese Funeral Home, Inc., Canton. –Canton Independent Sentinel.
