Robin H. Taylor, 90, of Canyon died Friday, July 18, 2008, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Canyon Hills Church of Christ with Curtis Shelburne, minister of 16th and D Church of Christ in Muleshoe, and Eddie Wilson, nephew of Levelland, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery.

Robin was born Nov. 21, 1917, in Running Water Draw, to Pilgrim and Ada Maxey Harbin. She was a graduate of Levelland High School and Texas Tech University.

She married Vern Taylor on Feb. 12, 1954, in Hobbs, N.M. She moved to Canyon in February 2000 from Muleshoe, where she had lived for 34 years. She was an extension agent for Archer, Castro, Swisher and Bailey counties.

Robin was a member of 16th and D Church of Christ in Muleshoe and Canyon Hills Church of Christ in Canyon.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Kenneth Taylor; a sister, Aileen Lewis; and three brothers, Jay, Joe and Ralph Harbin.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean Parker and favorite son-in-law, Don, of Happy; two granddaughters, Donae Smith and husband Scott of Canyon and Charlotte Morris of Houston; two great-grandchildren, Ashleigh and Ryan Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to Christian Relief Fund, P.O. Box 19670, Amarillo, TX 79114.
